Installation Options – BYD Shark Phantom Platform

Our BYD Shark Phantom roof platform is available in two installation variants—please select the option that best suits your needs:

1. Factory Rail Mount

   This option allows the platform to be installed directly onto the OEM factory roof rails. While this is a simpler installation method, please note that the load-carrying capacity will be limited to the original manufacturer’s weight specifications for the rails.

2. Direct-to-Roof Mount

   For increased strength and carrying capacity, we recommend the direct-to-roof mounting option. This variant is fixed directly to the vehicle’s roof, bypassing the limitations of the factory rails and providing a significantly stronger base for heavier loads and off-road use.

Important: Be sure to choose the variant that aligns with your intended use and load requirements.
