Important installation notice. The control module supplied with this tow harness kit is not fully waterproof. It's designed to be water resistant under normal operating conditions but must not be mounted in areas exposed to direct water spray, splashes or submersion.
To ensure correct operation and longevity, the module must be installed in a protected, dry location. Avoid mounting near wheel arches, underbody areas or anywhere subject to road spray or pressure washing. Incorrect mounting that exposes the module to water ingress may result in product failure.
Any damage caused by water exposure due to improper installation or mounting location will not be covered under warranty. Professional install is recommended given the wiring and mounting location requirements.
