Description
The BYD Shark 6 tub is seriously capable. The Savage Tech Alloy Side Storage Cage makes it seriously organised too. Built from 5.3mm marine grade 5052 aluminium and designed to mount using factory threaded holes, this cage gives you tough, accessible, properly sorted tub storage on the driver or passenger side, or run both for maximum utility.

- Available for driver right side or passenger left side run one for targeted storage or both cages together for maximum tub utility on your Shark 6.
- 5.3mm marine grade 5052 aluminium construction heavy duty, corrosion resistant, and built for any terrain whether its beach tracks, red dirt, or the daily grind.
- OEM factory threaded mounting the majority of mounting holes line up directly with factory threaded points in the Shark 6 tub for a clean and strong fit.
- One additional hole required a single extra hole is needed and all the hardware including the bolt, nutsert, and nut is supplied in the box. You will need a drill, drill bit, and a nutsert gun.
- Power point cutout and latch on the right side version the driver side cage includes a dedicated cutout for the factory power point and a built in latch to hold the factory cover open while plugged in.
- All brackets and fittings supplied everything you need for the install is in the box so there are no surprise hardware runs.
- MOLLE compatible panel design mount pouches, straps, tools, and accessories directly to the cage using standard MOLLE gear.
- Prototype pictured in photos final production version has improved hole positioning and hardware brackets for even easier fitment and a cleaner finish.

FAQ
Does this fit the BYD Shark 6 without major modification?
Yes. The cage uses factory threaded mounting points in the Shark 6 tub for most of the mounting. One additional hole is required and we supply the bolt, nutsert, and nut to complete it. You will need a drill, drill bit, and a nutsert gun on hand for that step.
Can I run both driver and passenger side cages at the same time?
Absolutely. The driver right side and passenger left side cages are sold separately so you can grab one to start or order both to double your tub storage capacity. They are designed to work together.
What is the difference between the driver and passenger side versions?
The driver right side version includes a dedicated cutout for the factory power point and a built in latch that holds the factory cover open when something is plugged in. The passenger left side version does not have this feature. Both versions share the same heavy duty construction and MOLLE compatible design.
What is included in the box?
You get the alloy side storage cage, all required brackets and fittings, and the hardware for the one additional hole including the bolt, nutsert, and nut. Note that a drill, drill bit, and nutsert gun are required for installation and are not included.
Do the product photos show the final version?
No. Current images show the prototype. The final production version features improved hole positioning and updated hardware brackets for easier fitment and a cleaner finish. The core design, material, and function are the same.
