Designed specifically for the GWM Cannon Alpha. This harness is not tested or verified for the GWM Alpha PHEV. While it may physically plug in, compatibility and safety on the PHEV have not been confirmed, so please do not purchase for that model until official testing is complete.

Installation
Installation guide
This is a plug and play, no splice connection that attaches directly to your factory wiring. A step by step installation guide and cable ties are included in the box. Please note reverse sensors may beep while reversing since towing mode is not activated, and depending on trailer size it could trigger emergency braking when reversing, so disable the automatic braking manoeuvre for safer reversing while towing. Rear cross traffic braking and manoeuvre emergency braking need to be switched off while towing. The control module is water resistant under normal conditions but is not fully waterproof, so it must be installed in a protected, dry location away from wheel arches, underbody areas or anywhere exposed to road spray or pressure washing. Damage from water exposure due to improper mounting is not covered under warranty. DIY install with basic tools, or get in touch with our support team if you'd like a hand.

Does this fit my exact model and year?
This harness is designed for the GWM Cannon Alpha in both 7 pin and 12 pin configurations. It is not tested or verified for the GWM Alpha PHEV, so please don't purchase for that model until we've confirmed compatibility.

This is an aftermarket towing accessory designed to work safely alongside your vehicle's factory safety systems, including keeping blind spot detection active while towing.
Do I need to drill or modify anything?
