Yes. The SharkGuard Coolant Line Bash Plate is designed to suit both the BYD Shark 6 Premium and Performance models. If you are unsure about your build, reach out to our support team before ordering.
Why does my Shark 6 need a bash plate for the coolant lines?
The BYD Shark 6 leaves the factory with coolant lines that run in an exposed position under the vehicle. On road that is fine. Off road, even a moderate rock strike or deep rut can puncture or crack a coolant line and leave you stranded. The SharkGuard puts a layer of stainless steel in the way so that does not happen to you.
Do I need to drill or modify anything?
No. The SharkGuard is a bolt on installation with no modifications or drilling required. The full stainless hardware kit is included in the box.
