BYD Shark Flat-Pack Alloy Aluminium Canopy with Central Locking

Built tough for the BYD Shark, this flat-pack alloy canopy is the ideal solution for tradies, tourers, and weekend warriors who want secure storage, sleek looks, and rugged functionality — without breaking the bank.

Made from high-grade aluminium with stainless steel internals, this canopy features full central locking on all three doors, integrated interior LED lighting, high-mount brake light, and reverse lights. Please note: no complete wiring loom or switches are included. All components come with tail-end wiring only, ready for you (or your auto sparky) to wire up using your own relays, power sources, and signal triggers.

Finished in a durable black powder coat, it not only looks the part but is built to handle harsh Aussie conditions. The flat-pack design saves on freight and bolts directly to factory tub points on the BYD Shark — no drilling required.

Installation Requirements & Notes

This canopy is a flat-pack product and requires both mechanical assembly and electrical wiring before installation.

Assembly:

• Comes completely flat-packed – allow 6 to 8 hours for ground assembly before mounting.

• You must seal every join using the provided silicon to prevent water leaks.

• Foam and tub sealing strip are included to ensure a proper fit against the tub.

• If the canopy leaks, it’s likely due to incorrect or incomplete sealing during assembly — be thorough with your silicon application.

Wiring Harnesses are included 

You’ll need solid auto-electrical knowledge (soldering, routing, and signal tapping), or we recommend using an auto electrician.

Mounting:

• Designed specifically for the BYD Shark tub — no drilling required

• Bolts directly to existing tub bolt points on all four corners

• Includes reinforcement brackets to clamp down the canopy for added strength
