Installation guide
The 120L tank is a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory fuel tank – no modifications to your vehicle required. All mounting hardware is included. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fuel system safety and correct sender calibration. Rough install time is 2 to 3 hours depending on your workshop experience. Once installed, the factory fuel gauge will read full for an extended period until fuel drops back into the sender's reading range – this is normal. Use your trip meter and monitor fuel usage for the first few fill cycles to get familiar with the tank's increased capacity.

Does this fit my BYD SHARK 6?
Yes, this tank is engineered specifically for the BYD SHARK 6 2025 and onwards. It's a direct replacement for the factory fuel tank with zero modifications needed to your vehicle.
Will it affect my ground clearance or bash plate?

Will my fuel gauge work properly with the larger tank?
The factory fuel sender will continue to work, but because the replacement tank holds additional fuel above the sender's normal reading range, the gauge may show full for an extended period after filling. Once fuel usage drops the level back into the sender's range, the gauge operates normally. We recommend using your trip meter and getting familiar with fuel usage for the first few cycles.
What's included and how long does installation take?
All mounting hardware and fuel system components are included. Professional installation is recommended for fuel system safety – rough install time is 2 to 3 hours depending on workshop experience.
