Installation
Installation guide
This canopy arrives flat packed and requires wiring and assembly. The LED interior lights, LED brake light, and bright reversing lights all need to be wired to the vehicle, with additional wiring and cable covers required to connect them. You will need to solder and wire the connections to the necessary triggers, the battery for the interior light and the brake light trigger for the brake light. Minor modifications may be needed when using the factory bolt holes to ensure proper fitment. We recommend using a 4mm gauge wire to ensure proper power distribution to the central locking system. Please note this does not come with wiring harnesses. Professional installation is recommended if you are not confident with auto wiring and soldering.

Does this fit my GWM Alpha?
Yes. The canopy is custom designed for GWM Alpha utilities. Keep in mind some slight modifications may be needed for the factory bolt holes to get proper fitment.
Do I need to drill or modify anything?
Possibly. The canopy is built to suit the Alpha, but minor modifications may be required when using the factory bolt holes to ensure everything lines up properly.
What is included in the box?
You get the Savage Tech aluminium canopy flat packed, an LED interior light, an LED brake light, bright reversing lights, and assembly instructions. The lights all require wiring. Central locking is included as standard.
What is not included?
You will need to supply additional wiring and cable covers for extending and connecting the lights, plus soldering and wiring tools. Any factory specific modifications are on you if needed, and wiring harnesses are not included. We recommend 4mm gauge wire for the central locking power distribution.
How does it ship and is it hard to install?
It ships flat packed fast from our Loganholme QLD warehouse. Install involves assembly plus wiring and soldering the LED interior light, brake light, and reversing lights to the right triggers. If you are not confident with auto electrical work, we recommend professional installation. Reach out to our support team and we will point you in the right direction.
